  just came across an interesting study.

  during brain scans, when people were asked how they felt about something, the same part of the brain was active as when they were asked how god felt about something.

  when asked how other people felt about something, however, a different part of the brain was at work.. specifically, the portion of the brain that was active when asking people how god felt about things was the portion of the brain associated with self-referential thinking.... people are literally making god up in their own image as they go.

  Plot

  Heidi DJs at the local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the ‘Big H Radio Team’. A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, "a gift from the Lords". She assumes it's a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords’ record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma. Later, Whitey plays the Lords’ record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners. The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they’re expecting; the original Lords of Salem are returning, and they’re out for blood.

  His films aren't the greatest in acting but a lot of fun to watch. They are more CULT classic then big hit at the box office. It comes out April 26th 2013. I can't wait. Sheri Moon Zombie is in it... Need I say more?

  we all know that beth hell monitors this site.. they have repeatedly had sites shut down for quoting large portions of their litterature.

  not this one.. do you think this board enables them to keep a finger on the pulse of what is going on in ex and aposto land?

  I think you may have something. There are "active" elders and MS and pioneers and Im sure sometimes people let things slip that could possibly give them away. The GB may want to look into some people and see what they can find, or this is just the conspircy theorist in me. And yes I think they do want to keep the pulse on whats happening in apostate land. These are some of the most insecure men I'v ever known. They are losing people in droves and maybe think they can figure out why by looking here from time to time.

  growing up scared of Armageddon

  i was just curious if any of you growing up in the truth were overly scared of armageddon?.

  when my mom came into the org.

  in the 70's,the only so called kids book was the paradise lost book.the pictures in that book scared the pants off me!at night when i was lying in bed,if i would hear a loud plane go over head,or there was a thunder storm,i was sure it was the start of armageddon and i would be sooooo scared.i was wondering if i was the only one overly scared,or if their were others.. also,was anyone out there extremely frightened of the demons?i would hear all these crazy experiences of people having problems with demons,and i was sooo frightened they would come bother me.maybe i was just a big old scaredycat,but if any one else has any experiences,please post them!

  I could have posted that original post as if it was my own. My mom kinda F'd with my head for so many years with this BSht. She got baptized in 74 hoping the end was in 75'. Of course to this day she will say the org never pointed to 75' as the year it was to end.
